Vivien had it very, VERY, rough, to be sure, but I have to say Calix is probably the most egregious example of this. Poor guy was LITERALLY created IN THE TEXT with the purpose of being Elspeth's nemesis - as in, he was magically brought into being fully formed as a planeswalker by a god who just wanted him to kill Elspeth - and then Elspeth moved on with her life and he never showed up again because none of the other writers cared enough to use him. And thanks to the pandemic, he didn't even get an actual story for his first and only appearance (which is probably why none of the later writers cared about him)!

I love the way that Magic: the Gathering's story organically shifts and grows as different writers are brought in to do each new set, but MAN it can really screw some characters over...

What is your favorite color(s)? I am a great enjoyer of blue -- it's got the clones, it's got the best card draw, it's got the fun interaction, literally what's not to love? Especially since adding green gives you every interesting scaling effect in history

4. Favorite card(s)? My pet cards are largely jank like Biovisionary, Simic Ascendancy or Season of Growth

as well as cards with purely nostalgic value like Applied Biomancy, Lorescale Coatl or my boy Sharktocrab

16. What’s your favorite or best deck? I have a supremely fun Lonis edh deck that finds the best scaling effect in every player's deck and makes ~1000 copies of it. My best deck is a $7 Captain Ripley Vance deck built for me by @puppybytes because she is incredible at mtg and every other deck I play I actively made worse because I have no impulse control when it comes to adding unplayable cards

21. Favorite planeswalker? Does Rona count as a planeswalker yet? She's been places I enjoy messing around with characters that don't have much written about them like Calix and Ashiok since there's a lot of fun stuff to play around with without many canonical restrictions. Out of the main cast I have a lot of gender envy towards Chandra -- she's gay, she's fun, she uncontrollably explodes which are all aspirational qualities. to me. Special shoutout to Tamiyo, Compleated Sage because every card she shows up on fucks supremely and she deserved more story appearances 22. Favorite non-creature, non-plansewalker card? Has to be Season of Growth. There's something about storming off in blue-green that you really can't get from classic izzet storm 49. What’s one card that you use that nobody else does? I'm not going to retread previous questions and instead say Flood of Tears. It's a fair boardwipe that I play instead of the ever-present cyclonic rift, it lets me keep my biggest thing on the board and then get all of my etb effects and reselect targets for my clones. Plus it doesn't feel nearly so bad to play against!

ignoring the leaks any predictions on who is going to live, die, get compleated, or anything else for the rest of the phyrexian arc? Personally I'm predicting that Jin-Gitaxias is going to steal someone's spark and become a planeswalker

I've long been really into the idea that Jace as a mind mage manages to tap into the glistening oil and alter/influence the memories it stores, to devastating effect possibly to himself. Alternatively or additionally, he affects Elesh Norn's hivemind.

Chandra might especially work well with Urabrask, catalyst of revolution that he is. Sort of reminds her of her mother, in a weird way.

Slow burn Elspeth/Urabrask friendship please. I want to see h e a l i n g.

Lots of content of Urabrask being a good boy, the best boy, the most wonderful boy.

More of Elesh Norn showing the barest glimmers of (for lack of a better word) humanity, only to shove them down again and again and repeatedly choose cruelty to suppress her feelings.

Ashiok could either get compleated or remain untouched the entire time to represent their neutral position as an agent of chaos. Oko too, if he shows.

Some sort of Glissa flashback where she learns about her old memories and/or her spark.

I'm pretty skeptical about the idea of a Phyrexian becoming a planeswalker rather than the other way around.
